Thong Bikini Bottoms

Thong bikini bottoms are definitely one of the most daring styles out on the beach, but they can also be quite comfortable and flattering.  It does take a lot of confidence to pull off this look, make no mistake.  However, if you can find it within you, there are rewards for sporting this sexy style and they go beyond admiring (and jealous!) glances.

Thong Bikini Bottoms

When most people hear thong bikini bottoms, they automatically think of something along the lines of the thong seen here.  The classic t-back or g-string is almost synonymous with the word thong.  A t-back thong has a very low rise front side and thin string sides that wrap around to join an equally thin backside.  A g-string is mostly the same save for a small patch of fabric, usually triangular, in the top center of the back.

There are other thongs that provide a bit more coverage without giving up the look and feel of their smaller counterparts.  One popular style is often called a whaletail thong because of it is shaped similar to a whale’s tail.  It is a wide strip of fabric across the top of the butt that has a slight v-shape to it.  Often times, it will have a small puckered stitch in the center of the back that adds a nice touch of detail.  The fabric narrows into a thong about halfway down the back giving a teasing peek at your cheeks.

These thongs are just a few examples of the bikinis out there that are super revealing, and unfortunately there are a few beaches in the U.S. with ordinances against wearing thongs such as these.  To avoid any embarrassing misunderstandings on your next vacation, be sure to check local laws about thongs so you can relax in confidence once you get there.
